The structural calculations provide our clients with peace of mind but also the engineer provides a detailed layout of all of the structural steel beams, splice joints, joists, rafters and pad stones to enable our loft technicians to plan out their work and safety strategies in advance.

Once the structural works are in place, and the floor structure has been installed the parameters of the conversion are set any changes at this point could potentially affect the structure, so it really makes a lot of sense to go into detail before the conversion starts.
